Welcome to the WTE Database!
It's Finally Here!
The Unofficial, International Database of Waste-to-Energy Plants is now a reality.
The only task remaining is to Add Plants and work out the hidden
bugs. Check out the Forum to discuss WTE and other topics, and to help
improve the database (e.g. report an issue). The WTE Database is part of CBLL Internet.
Waste-to-Energy facilities use waste products as a fuel for the production of usable energy. Most often the waste is incinerated to release the heat which boils water into steam for running turbines and supplying district heating networks, but other technologies and methods exist and are used.
